About This Course
As a support worker Signalong is a communication method necessary for supported people to communicate effectively using person-centred vocabulary.
Signalong is a key word sign-supported communication system based on BSL.
Signs are used in spoken English order and only key words are signed at the appropriate level.
It uses speech, sign,body language, facial expression and voice tone to reference the link between sign and word.
