Charter for Involvement
Charter for Involvement
The Charter for Involvement shows how people who use support services want to be involved:
- In the services we get
- In the organisations that provide our services
- In our wider communities
The Charter was written by members of the National Involvement Network (NIN). It is for anyone who receives support and covers all abilities, age, gender, race, colour, sexual orientation or religion. The 12 Statements in the Charter fit in with human rights rules.
Most importantly, the Charter helps us to be listened to and respected. Updated 2019.
You can sign up to the Charter to show your commitment to improving the lives of disabled people.
