Professional Development Award in Health and Social Care Supervision

This award was created to meet the requirements of social service workers in a supervisory role.

The qualification is designed for employees who are in their first line management role and who provide supervision, support and guidance to other staff and wish to develop their knowledge skills and confidence in supervisory responsibilities and gain formal recognition.

The award comprises two Higher National Units and provides 16 SCQF points at Level 7.

Candidates embarking on this award must have already gained a Level 3 award or equivalent and be in an appropriate job role.

The award requires the candidates to attend 3 taught days followed by the submission of 2 assignments within a total 12 week period.

We have now put dates in place to run 2 separate courses and the dates on which these will take place are 13, 21 and 27 June and will be followed by another course on 21 and 28 August and 4 September 2019.

The courses will be held at ARC Scotland, Unit 11 Hardengreen Business Centre, Eskbank, Dalkeith EH22 3NX.

The cost to attend this course is £385 per person. A light buffet lunch will be provided at each session.

Should you wish to book a place on either of these courses please contact Muriel McLeod on 0131 663 4444 or email [email protected]
