This half day course will introduce participants to the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000.  Adults with Incapacity can often be misunderstood, and it is essential that support staff have an understanding of the legislation in relation to roles & responsibilities. The online course is aimed at support workers or those new to Health & Social Care.

 

This interactive course will cover the following Learning Outcomes:-

• Develop your knowledge and understanding of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000
• Consider the Principles of the Adults with Incapacity
• Provide opportunity to consider its relevance to individuals who receive support
• Provide opportunity to reflect on its relevance to delivering support within the sector
