National Involvement Network tiger logoARC Scotland are recruiting for full and part-time Development Worker posts for the National Involvement Network.

You will help people with support needs and organisations put the ‘Charter for Involvement’ into practice within the planning and delivery of health and social care, and community services in Dundee and North, South and East Ayrshire.

Development Workers: National Involvement Network

North, South and East Ayrshire: Full time (35 hours)
Dundee: Part time (17.5 hours)

Salary: £27,688 – £31,601 (pro-rata)
Closing date: 5pm on Thursday 7 June 2018

Status – permanent

Initial funding is in place for 3 years

The Role

You will enable people who require additional support, health and social care partnerships, social care providers and other stakeholders to work together to put the ‘Charter for Involvement’ into practice in their local areas.

You have the knowledge, values and commitment required to be part of shaping the future of health and social care in Scotland.

You are passionate and committed to the twelve statements in the ‘Charter for Involvement’. You have practical experience of managing or providing person centred support and can demonstrate the ability to listen to and respect people, and help them advocate for themselves. You are self-motivated, organised and can work with a high degree of independence and creativity.
