Workbased qualifications are usually paid for by employers, although employees may be required to pay a contribution towards this. Individuals can also fund their own qualifications without any contribution from their employer. See the options below for sources of funding for individuals and organisations.
Funding your qualification yourself
If your employer is not funding your qualification, we may offer you the option of paying for it by instalments by direct debit. If this applies to you, please discuss with ARC Scotland at the time of applying.
Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) funding
We are approved to accept part time fee grants from SAAS towards the cost of some qualifications.
The amount awarded depends on the credit value of the qualification (see the Scottish Qualification Credit Framework for details) and the candidate has to meet eligibility requirements.
