Medication Train the Trainer Course

This will help you:

• explore and develop the skills required to deliver medication training to your team. Whilst the focus will be on the support of individuals with the management of medication, themes covered will support you to deliver different types of training.
• Consolidate your learning around medication support through our newly launched online e-learning course (which you need to complete before this 1-day course)
• Understand the different models of learning
• Recognise the learning needs of your participants and adjust your style accordingly
• Reflect on what works well to support learning
• Consider different ways of supporting learning
• Increase your self-awareness and confidence in delivering training
• Understand the importance of preparation and how to recover when things don’t go to plan

 

Our Trainer:

Dawn Newlands – Dawn has more than 24 years’ experience in supporting the learning and development of social care staff.  She enjoys supporting teams to understand the person they are supporting.  She has delivered extensive medication training to both practitioners and managers and is adept at delivering this course in a thought provoking way to drive best practice.

 

Terms & Conditions

Your cancellation charges

If you are unable to attend the course you are booked on, you may substitute, by prior arrangement and after notifying us, someone else from your organisation.

If you are unable to attend, and not in a position to transfer your place to another person, then the following charges will apply:

3-8 weeks’ notice: 25% of fee

1-3 weeks’ notice: 75% of fee

Less than 1 weeks’ notice: 100% of fee

 

ARC’s cancellation

Please note that full payment is required for non-attendance on a booking that has been transferred.

ARC Scotland events and courses are periodically updated and while we endeavour to deliver the courses as advertised there may inevitably be occasions where we have to change content without prior notice or, in exceptional circumstances, to cancel an event.

In the case of a course cancellation delegates will either be offered an alternative date, a credit note or a full refund and we will also consider any reasonable request to cover non-refundable travel arrangements if a course is cancelled within 2 working days of the start day.
