Loss and Bereavement Training

Often in social care you may face the reality of supporting individuals at the end of their lives. This course explores experiences and strategies that can be applied to support you to have a better understanding of and a greater awareness of the impact of bereavement upon yourself, the families of individuals you work alongside, and carers.

This interactive course provides you with an opportunity to explore loss and bereavement in a sensitive manner and consider different models and approaches when dealing with bereavement.  You will be skilfully supported to explore how you can support people who have experienced loss and bereavement and reflect on bereavement and grief.

This course is delivered face to face.
